Below are some questions you should ask any SEO firm before you proceed
with their services. Stay informed and be involved in the process!

 

1. Do you have any initial or set up fees? How much and what are they for?

Yes. Most of our packages have a set up fee of $500 - $750, which is all inclusive. This covers all aspects of your campaign during its trial phase (from 2-4 months, depending on package):

  • keyword research and site analysis
  • page optimization and new page creation when necessary
  • submissions and paid submissions (when necessary) to major engines
  • results monitoring and reporting

    You pay no other fees during this period. If you desire, we can set up an individualized positioning package and payment options that meet your business needs.

2. Are there ongoing fees and how much are they?

We strongly recommend a follow up program with a monthly fee. This ensures that your site is kept up to date and that rankings remain high.

3. Is a monthly follow up necessary?

Search engine ranking criteria change frequently. Monthly monitoring and maintenance is the only way to be sure your rankings continue for the long term.

4. How long is my term of service?

We suggest a minimum term of service of 6 months. 6 months is enough time to see extensive results, but does not tie you into a long-term contract. We can set up a term of service and price that meets your special needs and concerns.

5. Do you offer a Guarantee?

Yes. But note that the search engines determine their results, not us. No one can actually "guarantee" results.

You pay only for first and second page rankings for the keywords you've chosen, at the engines you require.

You won't be charged for performance based Web Positioning results until their cumulative value exceeds our initial start up fee and the initial trial period is over.

6. Are there any services you provide over and above your packages?

Yes, we provide consultation in a wide number of Web Development and Search Engine Marketing areas. If there is any issue related to E-commerce or doing business online that we do not address, please ask us - chances are we can help you. We offer full Web design, Web site facelifts, site hosting, Adwords campaign management, PPC campaign management, link building programs, directory submissions, copy writing, social media expertise, and programming services. 7. Do I own the work you do for me? Where does it sit?

All work resides on your domain. You own all tags, and other optimization techniques. Unlike some others, we don't "lease" you our services.

8. Do you provide regular reports and how often are they provided?

Full reports are provided once a month, and usually more often in the beginning period when the newly optimized pages are being indexed. Once the site indexing is "stable", the monthly report is usually sufficient for reflecting your positions. However, we monitor the search results on a regular basis, and send you interim reports whenever we see any significant changes in the rankings.

9. When will I start seeing results?

Results usually appear anytime from 1 - 8 weeks after the optimized pages are submitted, but it can take as long as 6 months. Generally rankings improve as your pages mature and as the engines deep crawl and re-index your site.

10. What engines do you submit to?

We make sure your pages are indexed at Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Ask. These databases account for almost all web searches. In addition, we can submit your site to the Open Directory, Skaffe, Go, and Gimpsy, as well as other secondary engines and directories. Well Over 90% of all searches are done at about 10 major sites, and based on only 4 individual search databases.

11. What about foreign search engines?

We submit to international engines as well. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

12. Do you assist in converting traffic into buyers or solid leads?

Yes, in addition to being SEO experts, we are experienced in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) search engine marketing and Adwords. We can advise you on how to increase your site’s conversion ratios by making the site more "user friendly".

13. What's more important in your strategy, free submissions or paid submissions?

Most sites will be found automatically by SE spiders, and for most sites free submission is sufficient. However, in some cases we may decide that a combination of both is the most effective solution. In some of our packages, we cover your initial cost for other engines as we feel necessary.

14. What about past results? Do you provide references and testimonials?

Yes, see our references pages. We will also provide contact information for some of our clients upon request.

15. What techniques do you use to optimize my site?

We use only "ethical" positioning techniques, such as keyword optimization of texts, and proper writing of page elements such as tags and link text. We also optimize "unseen" elements of the page such as Javascripts. We do not use any techniques search engines regard as "spam".

16. Do I have access to anyone on your staff, so I receive personalized service and can ask questions at anytime?

Absolutely. You have a staff member who is personally responsible for your site. He/she is always available to answer any questions you may have, either by phone or email.

17. How do I know my site will be kept up to date and current with the latest criteria and technologies?

We subscribe to numerous industry newsletters and paid "insider" subscription services. We spend the first part of each day reading about the latest developments in search, so that any site we work on is optimized using the most up to date ideas and tools.
